A Dreamcatcher or “Sacred Hoop’ was originally created by North American Indian tribes and are made of a hoop covered with a net of fibres and have feathers and beads hanging down from the bottom of the hoop.

The North American Indians believe that the night air is filled with ‘dreams’, both good and bad.

Meant to hang over the bed, the ‘net’ is constructed in such a way that it will catch all these dreams.
